WELLNESS COACHING
Wellness Coaching is specifically designed to help you uncover your deepest Values, Skills, Strengths and Resources in service of reaching and sustaining your wellness goals. Working with me you will experience a personalized connection through aspects of:
1. Mindfulness, (Present moment awareness of what’s going on inside and outside your mind and body without judgement)
2. Functional Imagery Training FIT (using mental imagery to motivate change)
3. Internal Family Systems (a way of understanding and integrating the various parts of ourselves to serve our deepest values)
4. Referral to a licensed Mental Health provider if desired to process trauma
5. Compassion, confidentiality and continuity

MB-EAT: MINDFULNESS BASED EATING AWARENESS TRAINING
Our relationship to food is one of the most complicated ones in our lives. This evidence based, research * supported 12 week program has helped people to improve their relationship not only to food but to themselves and to lower blood sugars (A1c), lose weight and experience fewer binge eating episodes. Whether we seek a more comfortable and balanced relationship with food for weight loss or not we nurture body positivity, self acceptance and compassion. Not a diet and there are no “bad” foods, Mindful Eating allows us to enjoy and find satisfaction when eating, while nourishing our health goals.
MINDFULNESS
This basic human trait allows us to pay keen attention to what’s going on in our immediate external and internal environments from moment to moment, allowing a pause which gives us time to make a wise choice. Our quality of life is determined by how we spend our 1,440 minutes every day. The 6 week introduction to Mindfulness offers practice and skills for managing difficult emotions, cultivating compassion, managing stress, improving relationships, preventing burnout, improving focus and lowering fear based reactivity.
METABOLIC AND BARIATRIC SURGERY
These procedures continue to offer the longest lasting weight loss success tool on the market. However, they only change the physical anatomy, not the emotional relationship we have with food. People who learn how to manage life skillfully and maintain the post surgery behaviors required to prevent regain, have a Self-care Mindset. Our MB-EAT and Wellness Coaching programs can help prepare you for surgery and get back on track afterwards.

WEIGHT LOSS MEDICATIONS
A new class of weight loss drugs has garnered a lot of attention in the world of health care and consumer demand. For many, they afford major weight loss on the same level as surgeries, yet confer considerable risk of major and minor side effects. Some people will have to stop taking them, some people may never have access to them, others may not see weight loss at all. No matter what tool we use to manage weight we benefit from understanding our relationship to food and cultivating healthy sleep, exercise and stress management tools. A Self-care Mindset serves everyone by prioritizing our true values and building skill sets that honor them by flexing with life.
